COMMUNITY SERVICE SINCE 1929
Celebrating the reopening of our clubhouse - March 2025
- Attend two General Meetings (day) or Night Guild (evening) meetings as a guest
- Complete membership application and present it to the Board for approval
- Must have two current members of the SMWC to sponsor you
- Once membership is approved, pay the required yearly membership fee
- Attend GFWC SMWC orientation before you are installed as a member or within one year of your installation
- Participate in the Club's annual fundraiser, currently "The Art of Nature" Garden Tour, and purchase/sell the required number of tickets to the event.
Won't you come join us?
We accept members that live outside the boundaries of Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Even if there is another club closer to where you live, you can still join our club.
While much of our time is spent on community volunteer service, which often requires some hard work and commitment, there is always time to nurture friendships and make visitors feel welcome.

Why do we do what we do?
- Because volunteering feeds your soul
- There is something very gratifying about seeing something you worked on make a difference in your community. It doesn't have to be a big project. Sometimes, even the smallest act can be enough to move the needle toward change
- By combining our efforts with those of other like-minded women, we can do what we cannot do alone.
- GFWC empowers women through training, mentoring and experience. This allows personal growth and lets us accomplish things we never dreamed we could.
